Acer palmatum 'Momenshide' is a green Japanese maple with a feathery sessilifolium shape to the leaves. This is a very unusual leaf shape among Japanese maples. 'Momenshide' will grow to be about eight feet tall and six feet wide. 'Momenshide' will be green spring and summer and orange in the fall. 10 Year Size: Height: 8-10 feet   Width: 4-6 feet

In early spring the palmate leaves emerge pinkish red with green veins giving the entire round topped small tree a stately appearance. As spring progresses the leaves change from that pink cast to bright red, then orange red all the time putting on a show. In cooler climates the colors last well into the summer before eventually turning first bronze and then green this happens quite early if you live in a hotter climate. In fall the show begins again with wonderful shades of red, orange and sometimes even yellow. The name comes from the Muro river in Japan. 10 Tear size:  Height: 8-10 Feet Width: 8-10 Feet

Acer palmatum ‘Nicholsonii’ is a beautiful green Japanese maple with long, serrated leaves. Red samaras are commonly found on ‘Nicholsonii’ which contrasts wonderfully with the green leaves. Fall color is an excellent red. ‘Nicholsonii’ has a beautiful growing habit that is about as wide as it is tall.10 Year Size: Height: 6-8 feet Width: 6-8 feet

'Nuresagi' also known as, the 'Wet Heron' maple is very fast growing especially when young. Younger plants tend to put on vertical growth faster than most varieties we grow, sometimes running out 3-4 feet upright leaders in one season. Of course it does not grow at this rate every year. The long leaders will spend some time filling out before sending out more vertical growth. Very nice white striations also appear on the bark of older wood. The name 'Wet Heron' comes from the blue cast created by silver pubescence covering the deep red leaves when they emerge in spring. This reminded the Japanese of  the 19th century, of a wet heron. Acer palmatum 'Okukuji nishiki' is a fantastic variegated Japanese maple with pink and white edges to otherwise light green leaves. This variegation typically transitions to a creamy white in the summer giving 'Okukuji nishiki' excellent variegation through the spring and summer. Acer palmatum 'Orange Flame' is a Japanese maple with fantastic fall color. 'Orange Flame' has narrow leaves with deeply divided lobes which gives it a different texture than the majority of upright growing Japanese maples. These leaves emerge in the spring with a green and bronze color that matures to a solid green color later in the spring. Fall is when 'Orange Flame' puts on a show. Acer palmatum 'Oregon Sunset' is a unique variety of Japanese maple in that it has broad leaves but grows as much laterally as it does upright. The leaves are a very pinkish red in the spring and eventually turn red then burgundy. Even during the summer when colors are the most muted there is still hints of dark red in the leaves. The leaves then turn bright red in the fall.

What's in a name? Everything, the name says it all, well almost. Acer palmatum ‘Peaches and Cream’ starts with rosy peach color washed over creamy white foliage. Then, add in the green veining and you have a total show stopper in the garden. In summer, the peach fades leaving a nice white reticulated leaf that holds well in all but the hottest climates. Fall color is a pastel yellow to orange and very nice. Acer palmatum ‘Pendula Angustilobum’ is a fast growing lace leaf with yellow-green leaves in the spring. These leaves turn to a light green in the summer. In the fall, ‘Pendula Angustilobum’ puts on a show with bright yellow to orange foliage. ‘Pendula Angustilobum’ has a wide spreading habit.10 Year Size: Height: 3-5 feet Width: 6-8 feet

Acer palmatum 'Peridot Flame' is an exceptional green Japanese maple with intense fall color. The leaves emerge with soft peach and orange-green tones. Foliage settles into a rich olive-green, often edged or veined with pale lime highlights. As temperatures cool, colors shift to vibrant yellow, orange-yellow, and eventually orange-red. 10 Year Size: Height: 8-10 feet   Width: 4-6 feet

Acer palmatum 'Peve Starfish' the Rare Starfish Leaf Japanese Japanese Maple Acer palmatum ‘Peve Starfish’ has one of the most unique leaf shapes of any Japanese maple. The edges of the leaves curl under themselves giving the leaves the appearance of a starfish. ‘Peve Starfish’ has burgundy-red leaves in the spring that fade to a more dull burgundy through the summer. Leaves of ‘Peve Starfish’ then turn a bright, vibrant red in the fall. ‘Peve Starfish’ is a small growing tree that will only get about 6 feet tall at maturity. The branches grow relatively compact creating a narrow growing tree that only grows about 3 feet wide. Acer palmatum ‘Phantom Flame’ is a rare and unusual Japanese maple with a unique combination of “ghost” and “red finger nails“. ‘Phantom flame’ has bright white foliage in the spring with green veining. These bright leaves look as though they have been dipped in red paint. The bright, reticulated foliage remains through the spring, eventually turning a green color. Acer palmatum ‘Pung kil’ is a Japanese maple tree with very thin leaves. These thin leaves emerge in spring with very dark red color. This color mostly remains throughout the summer. Acer palmatum 'Rainbow' is typically a variegated Japanese maple that offers a stunning display of vibrant hues, featuring splashes of pink variegation across full burgundy foliage. This variegation can be inconsistent, but few Japanese maples can match 'Rainbow' when its at its best. These 'Rainbow' are not currently showing variegation. Acer palmatum ‘Red Cloud’ is a nice red small tree linearlobum with dark purple foliage in spring. In cooler climates this tree will hold color most of the summer but in hotter areas it needs some shade  and it begins to bronze out in August. Red cloud forms an attractive small irregular round topped tree. Fall color is orange to red. 10 year size:  Height: 7-8 Feet   Width: 4-5  Feet
