Each needle has 2 yellow bands and when viewed from above you see alternating bands of yellow and green "like the eye of a dragon". 'Oculus Draconis' matures to become a very gracefully if irregular shaped small pine. We like to candle prune when young to keep the plant more dense.

Acer sieboldianum ‘Kumoi nishiki’ is an upright growing Japanese maple with dark green leaves with a white dust-like variegation sprinkled across all of the leaves.
