Grafted Trees

Pinus parviflora ‘Billie’ is a charming dwarf evergreen conifer with a dense, pyramidal form that brings structure. Its short, soft needles emerge a light, silver-green color which offers a refreshing contrast to the more common blue-green tones found in many Japanese white pine cultivars. This slow-growing selection reaches approximately 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide in 10 years.  ‘Billie’ was originally raised as a seedling by John Proudfoot of Scotland and has become a sought-after variety for collectors and conifer enthusiasts alike. 'Billie' can handle full sun in most climates, but prefers some shade in the hottest climates.   

Acer palmatum ‘Villa taranto’ is a linearlobum type Japanese maple with long, skinny leaves. These leaves go through a transition of color from peach to red to orange in the spring, green in the summer, and finally an orange-red in the fall. These trees are not displaying their usual characteristics, but they are still great looking Japanese maples. In my experience reverted trees still display typical fall colors regardless of the shape of the leaves. These trees are also not guaranteed to never regain their distinguishing characteristics, but they aren't currently showing it so it has to be noted.

‘Hubb's Red Willow’ is a rich dark burgundy upright maple with long narrow lobes that are slightly incised, giving  this small tree a willowy delicate appearance. Looks can be deceiving. This maple is as tough as they come, 'Hubb's Red Willow' is one of the more heat tolerant maples of the linearilobum group even tolerating full sun in all but the hottest climates. Very vigorous and vase shaped when young it slows down with age forming a beautiful round topped small tree. Fall color comes with an onslaught of fiery oranges and reds. These trees are not displaying their usual characteristics, but they are still great looking Japanese maples. In my experience reverted trees still display typical fall colors regardless of the shape of the leaves. These trees are also not guaranteed to never regain their distinguishing characteristics, but they aren't currently showing it so it has to be noted. Acer japonicum 'Abby's Weeping' is a full moon Japanese maple with a low growing habit and deeply divided green leaves, making it an attractive choice for any garden. It has a spectacular orange and red fall coloring. With its strong growth and cascading habit, this Japanese maple is a great choice for creating a beautiful, low-maintenance landscape. 10 Year Size: Height: 3-4 feet   Width: 3-4 feet

Acer palmatum ‘Zig Zag’ is a low, spreading lace leaf Japanese maple. ‘Zig Zag’ has green, dissected leaves throughout the summer that turn to a bright red in the fall. ‘Zig Zag’ stays very short and would be perfect for anyone that wants a Japanese maple with the traditional weeping form but needs a tree to stay short.

Abies nordmanniana 'Golden Spreader' is a Nordman Fir with a low spreading growth habit. In the winter 'Golden Spreader' is a bright golden yellow. The color is outstanding and shines among other evergreens. 'Golden Spreader' grows wider than tall and develops a dense, shrubby habit.  10 Year Size: Height: 3-5 feet   Width: 4-6 feet
