Grafted Trees

Acer sieboldianum ‘Kumoi nishiki’ is an upright growing Japanese maple with dark green leaves with a white dust-like variegation sprinkled across all of the leaves. This variegation holds really well throughout the summer before the leaves turn various shades of orange. The dusted variegation turns purple in the fall to go with the orange foliage. ‘Kumoi nishiki’ is a very cold tolerant Japanese maple like all Acer sieboldianums. ‘Kumoi nishiki’ should be grown in mostly shade in order to maximize the variegation in the foliage. ‘Kumoi nishiki’ is a very nice alternative to ‘Ukigumo’. 10 Year Size: Height: 8-10 feet Width: 4-6 feet

Acer palmatum ‘Pink Filigree’ is a beautiful lace leaf variety of Japanese maple with excellent colors throughout the year. ‘Pink Filigree’ leafs out a bright pinkish orange in the spring that changes to an attractive red. In summer, the leaves are a mix of green and orange. Acer palmatum ‘Diana’ is a dwarf Japanese maple with an upright habit. ‘Diana’ has small leaves that emerge yellow in the spring. These yellow leaves turn to green for most of the summer. Fall color is a bright, showy red. 10 Year Size: Height: 4-6 feet Width: 3-4 feet

Acer palmatum ‘Yeager Red’ is a small witches broom Japanese maple with good red color in the spring. This red turns to a burgundy in the summer. Fall color is a bright red. ‘Yeager Red’ will develop into a small shrubby tree with a dense and compact habit.10 Year Size: Height: 4-6 feet Width: 4-6 feet

Pinus densiflora 'Pendula' is a weeping variety of Japanese Red Pine. Nearly all of this tree's growth is out and down. The height is greatly determined by how high the tree is staked. If left alone, 'Pendula' will sprawl along the ground creating a large mound. Unless trained otherwise, 'Pendula' will grow to be wider than it is tall.  10 Year Size: Height: 4-6 feet   Width: 6-8 feet 7 Gallons are 4 feet tall or less and rootballs will need to be broken up to fit in shipping boxes.

Acer palmatum ‘Oshu shidare’ really makes a statement in contrast with the green veins and green bark standing out against the predominately red surface of the leaves. Add these great characteristics to a growth habit that is slightly pendulous and mounding and you have a star in the garden. In spring leaves emerge cherry red then turn more brick red as late spring comes along and then olive green for summer. Fall color is a bright fiery red. 10 Year Size:  Height 6-8 Feet  Width 7-9 Feet
