The Ryu sei is a stellar tree. I have 2 of them & both are very hardy. If you are looking for a sun tolerant, winter-hardy weeper, this is the one for you. I am a novice Japanese maple lover and both my Ryu seis have tolerated my efforts to kill them. (just kidding...). It is a beautiful, very forgiving tree. And any tree from Maple Ridge will be a healthy tree.

My Red Dragon Maple arrived very quickly. It was perfectly packaged and arrived in excellent condition. No leaves were wilted or damaged. I’m pleased with my purchase. Trees were well packaged and good sized. I have not planted them outside yet.

My Mikawa Yatsubusa was packaged VERY well with little soil in the box when it arrived. The tree has bright green foliage and is growing just like the pictures in the website! I can’t wait to see it grow throughout the year! My only “complaint” is that I wish the website showed better images of the different cultivars.
