Great seller, I would be happy to do business with again. They even accommodated my request. Thank you again so much!
Acer japonicum 'Green Cascade' Full Moon Japanese Maple
I received a great looking specimen. Looking forward to it putting on new growth.
This is a pretty little tree with a lot of character in his 18" (1 gal. pot). He lost all his leaves in a strong wind but now he is in the ground and seems to be thriving.
Well we have had a lot of winds lately and most of my maples have lost their leaves except for "Livy" I am very excited to get her planted up to see how she does in the ground.
So, I looked for this particular variety for its more orangish bark color during winter, golden foliage in the fall and luscious green leaves in the spring and summer. Also wanted a tree that will grow a little taller and thrive in full sun. It is a year-round show-stopper and does not disappoint! The specimen I got was in great condition and I have had amazing growth during the first year! During the first summer I used special Japanese Maple fertilizer and provided occasional watering during hot/dry spells as instructed. The pictures speak for themselves. First one is newly planted, second is one year later.
I have ordered many maples recently from this nursery. They arrive in great condition and are packed well. They provide the best value for money for Japanese maples amongst the mail order nurseries.
Wonderful house great color and perfect size for what I’m going to do with it will fit into my Bonsai collection very well so thank you goodbye again
This was a new variety to me and I wanted to observe it and plant it in the Nature Preserve. The Spring color is a deep raspberry color and by mid-summer, its color became a deep plum and depending on the light of the day, it can appear almost black. The Autumn color turned a rich crimson color. The leaves lay horizontal as the season progresses and I am thrilled with this outstanding variety. I photographed it and wrote about it in Volume Two of my books. I enjoyed it so much; I just bought another one. Thank you for this amazing tree.
The tree was packaged well to avoid damage and shipping was fast. 4 days over all from order to door. The root ball was well established in the nursery pot. I am very pleased with the size of the tree. I am a happy customer and will place more orders with Maple Ridge nurseries.
So happy packed well. Came on time. Friendly CUST Serv
As I continue my quest to be able to collect, study and observe as many Japanese Maple trees I can find, 'Oki kasane' is one I had never seen before. Hence, my work continues, and I will study it further to be able to share my observations and photographs as time goes by. Thank you for having such a wide array of Japanese Maple trees at your wonderful nursery for the world to enjoy.
I received two thoughtfully packed Japanese Maple trees that arrived healthy, with fully developed root systems and ready to plant.
Just planted this little beauty, can't wait to see it grow up! The trees I ordered arrived thoughtfully packed, healthy on top with strong root systems. Very nice specimen of the Acer palmatum family.
'Yubae' is a beautiful maple with medium-sized red leaves, turning a deep burgundy to a rich crimson as Autumn sets in. The leaves are thick and are leather-like to the touch. It is a variety I already have but this one will be planted at a park named "Under the K" in Greenpoint Brooklyn NY. I am the director of Horticulture at this park and I grew up 7 blocks from this park I am designing. Thank you all for your beautiful trees.
