Pinus parviflora 'Glauca Breviflora' is a narrow upright growing Japanese White Pine with a thin and open habit. 'Glauca Breviflora' has very short, blue-green needles. Breviflora actually means short leaves.  10 Year size: Height: 4-6 feet   Width: 2-4 feet 

Pinus wallichiana ‘Zebrina’ is a popular Himalayan pine due to its striped needles. These yellow stripes on the long blue-green needles create a very attractive look across the foliage. The stripes become more prominent with age and when the tree is given a sufficient amount of sun. ‘Zebrina’ will grow into a medium size tree with a pyramidal shape. Pinus parviflora ‘Tamina no yuki’ is an outstanding dwarf Japanese white pine. Pinus densiflora ‘Low Glow’ is a Japanese Red Pine with an extremely dense habit. True to its name, ‘Low Glow’ grows very close to the ground and will only reach about 1 or 2 feet tall at maturity. The growth habit of this short pine is very compact and will form a short and wide mound at maturity. 'Knaptonensis' is an upright Crytptomeria with new foliage that is pure white. Best situated in morning sun and afternoon shade, as 'Knaptonensis' tends to burn slightly in full sun in hotter climates. Information abounds about the "Jade Dragon", most of it conflicting.This plant is often seen as 'Gyo kuryu' or 'Gyoku ryu' both incorrect. Gyoku means jade in Japanese and Ryu means dragon but there are no spaces between words so 'Gyokuryu' would be correct.Information about mature size and shape of 'Gyokuryu' also conflicts greatly. 'Gyokuryu' has a nesting habit when young and attains height very slowly growing only 2-3 inches per year. Eventually vertical shoots with elongated internodal length appear from the top of the plant that grow much faster, 12-18 inches per year. If left unchecked this plant can reach 15 to 20 feet quite easily. However, if the gardener wishes to keep the plant small, pruning the vertical shoots from the top of 'Gyokuryu' once or twice a year is all that is necessary to maintain a small beautiful rounded plant.Taking cuttings from the lateral branches produces a slow growing plant that will stay smaller about 3 to 4 feet in ten years or until the vertical growth appears. Growers taking their cuttings off the top vertical shoots produce plants that skip the nesting stage and grow straight up with much larger internodal separation. These plants can grow 10 feet or more in ten years creating a plant more like the species that can be used for screening. Either way the dark foliage is beautiful.'Gyokuryu' does not bronze in winter in most climates and grows wonderfully in full sun or heavy shade.10 year size:   Height: 4-10 Feet   Width: 4-6 Feet

Pinus strobus ‘Angel Falls’ is an Eastern white pine with a very pendulous habit. ‘Angel Falls’ will often develop a central leader that gives it some height, but most of its growth will have a weeping characteristic. ‘Angel Falls’ has long blueish green needles that are quite attractive especially as the plant matures and grows more dense. ‘Angel Falls’ grows roughly a foot per year and ultimate height will depend greatly on the gardener’s training of the tree and the development of a central leader. 10 Year Size: Height: 6-8 feet Width: 4-6 feet

Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nicky' is a rare dwarf Hinoki cypress with emerald green foliage. 'Nicky' has an upright and conical growth habit but stays miniature even at maturity. 'Nicky' is a very slow grower that works great for bonsai or rock gardens. 10 Year Size: Height: 2-3 feet   Width: 1-2 feet

Pinus mugo 'Pumilio' is a dwarf mugo pine with a low, spreading growth habit. 'Pumilio' has a very dense structure that stays compact and low to the ground. The needles of this dwarf mugo pine are short with a vibrant, emerald green color.
