Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Snow’ is a dwarf Sawara false cypress with a very short, squatty habit. ‘Snow will form a small, dense ball over time. ‘Snow gets its name from the light grey, bluish color that this dwarf conifer exhibits. Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Snow’ grows at an extremely slow rate of only about an inch or so per year. However, ‘Snow’ works very well as a companion plant in small gardens.
