Acer palmatum 'Aocha nishiki' Japanese Maple
from $39.00
Acer palmatum ‘Aocha nishiki’ is a small tree that will become almost as wide as it is tall with age. The name translates to green-yellow but 'Aocha nishiki' is mostly known for it's creamy yellow variegation, unfortunately this almost never shows up in hot climates. Not to worry, the bright chartreuse color of early spring leaves makes this tree a great addition to any garden. If that were not enough we usually get a replay of the spring display in late summer this time it is even more striking because the new chartreuse growth really contrasts to the older green foliage. Fall color is orange to gold.10 Year size: Height: 7-9 Feet Width: 5-7 Feet

The leaves of the new growth emerge with a yellow tint turning green as summer arrives before turning beautiful tones of red, orange or yellow in fall. 'Arakawa' works well for bonsai.10 Year size Height: 12-14 Feet Width: 10-12 Feet

Acer palmatum 'Baby Lace' Dwarf Lace Leaf Japanese Maple
from $39.00
Introduced by Billy Schwartz of Green Mansions Nursery, 'Baby Lace' was the first witches broom discovered on a dissectum. The leaves are small, intricate and just about as finely dissected as 'Red Filigree Lace' only much more irregular. In spring the color is astounding, with pink, red and green all mixed together but as the new growth hardens off the color quickly becomes a solid light green. Fall color is a nice mix of yellows, oranges and reds. Although 'Baby Lace' is a highly sought after cultivar, it is hard to find in the trade due to the fact that it is rather slow growing and can be difficult to propagate.10 Year Size: Height: 2-4 Feet Width: 3-5 Feet
