Acer palmatum 'Oshio beni' Red Japanese Maple

1 Gallon 3 Gallon 7 Gallon 15 Gallon 25 GallonGreat service
After much online research for a reputable Japanese maple nursery, we ordered 3 varieties of Japanese maple trees from Maple Ridge Nursery. The Oshio Beni was the smallest one at 1 gallon, but that didn’t mean it isn’t as beautiful or as big as the other two 3 gallon maples we purchased. The Oshio Beni maple came sturdily strapped inside a tall cardboard box, and the planting bucket was wrapped & tapped to prevent soil loss during shipment. Upon arrival it was the smallest maple tree of the three with fuzzy leaf buds starting to form. I say “was” the smallest, because after a few days the fuzzy buds leafed out revealing beautiful broad light purple colored leaves. (We planted our maples within a few days of receipt). And, it definitely sprouted up some in a matter of weeks-we have had this tree for about 3 weeks now. While the tree trunk is slimmer than the 3 gallon varieties we also purchased (both are mounding dwarf varieties), the Oshio Beni has almost caught up in spread and height to one of the other red lace leaf Japanese maple purchased at the same time. We couldn’t be happier that we received such beautiful and healthy maples from Maple Ridge Nursery. Thank you so much for our lovely maples!

I got a gorgeous tree and was very please with the quality of the tree and the service that I had received.
If I'd had dozens to choose from I couldn't have picked a nicer looking plant
The 2 gallon plant had good size and a well healed graft. Excellent shipping.
My parents planted a coral bark many years ago and loved it. I lost them in recent years and then took care of their cat who recently died. I decided to buy a coral bark and bury the cat under it, and included some of my parents' ashes with the tree too. I'm pleased with the quality of the tree I bought from Maple Ridge for this tribute to Mom and Dad.
Well, the leaves had all fallen off by the time it arrived. But the tree seems healthy with lots of good looking buds and a decent graft. It was packaged very well. Looking forward to seeing it next year!
Tree arrived looking terrific and since it is fall the leaves were displaying their color!
I am excited to see the tree grow and mature. The color is really beautiful!
Beautiful trees, well packaged, and fast shipping.
This is my first Japanese Maple. The tree is healthy and beautiful. It was very well packaged. It is acclimating to Texas now and I can't wait to get it planted and see it next spring. Thank you!

Returning customer. This plant was very difficult to find in the marketplace. So happy w/the specimen I received. As always, very pleased w/my purchase experience.
Tree was well packaged and arrived on time. Tree looks healthy and ready for the winter.
This Treearrived safe n sound along with Dark Ghost, and a cool conifer, Chirimen. Lookin good after we got unexpected rain in east bay of Northern California. Three wonderful additions to my collection.
Wow! This robust specimen has a fountain-like habit. I can't wait until it leafs out in the Spring. Maple Ridge always provides well tended and shapely plants. It is my go-to for finding the Japanese Maple cultivars I am looking for, and often can't find in stock anywhere else.
Unfortunately it fell victim to critter teeth and was bitten off a couple of inches from ground level after two days

We are constantly putting trees in larger pots to allow them to grow and not become root bound. Therefore, many of our trees may have loose dirt in the pot until the roots fill out the container.
All of our Japanese Maples are grafted with a side veneer graft unless specifically stated as seedlings. This style of grafting is most commonly used in the nursery industry and allows these trees to still become excellent bonsai as the graft scar will be no longer visible when the trees age.
