my daughter's name is Elizabeth and ended up being delighted with how pretty this tree is. About a month ago, I got a one gal that was about 20" high and filled with small dark red/purple leaves that look almost iridescent in the sunlight. I have kept the tree in its nursery pot as I plan to keep it as a container tree on the deck. It is getting morning sun and dappled sunlight throughout the day. New growth has appeared on almost every branch.
Really loved it. One of my favorite plants. Great size. Hard to find too.

Margie Jenkins, is a new variety to me and I am constantly searching for new and or different varieties of Japanese maple trees, and this dwarf variety excited me when I first saw it here at Maple Ridge Nursery. I purchased this unusual dwarf to observe and photograph for an upcoming book and I am very happy I purchased this dwarf. The Summer leaves are a dark blue/gray-green, course and thick to the touch. I am so thankful to Maple Ridge for always offering new and rare varieties of Japanese maple trees so I can record them and place them in my books. Excellent work and thank you.
