Great product. I love it so far but it was damaged in shipping. The top was broken off and the box was crushed. I haven’t gotten a reply about it though and i sent two emails.

Purchased a Japanese red maple a couple weeks ago. Ended up planting it like a bonsai tree. Amazing purchase and shipping process. The people I communicated with were so thoughtful and caring of the style of tree I was looking for. When the tree was chosen and sent, it was packaged with such care that I have no doubt that they have perfected the shipping process of live trees. When it arrived it looked beautiful and healthy. Once I planted it and gave it its first watering, it appeared to have already taken to the new environment. The leaves grew more vibrant to the point that the tree almost began to shine. I’ll definitely be buying more trees in the near future. And this experience makes me confident that I’ll be returning here for my next one. Thanks guys!
Great trees, great price and great customer service
Within a week after this tree's arrival we had several feet of snow over two days. The snow is now almost melted but before shipping, I had initially expressed concern about transplant shock and the varying temps at this high altitude cannot possibly have helped. We will see what Spring brings.

'Takao' is an old cultivar dating back to 1695 and recorded in Japanese literature. I purchased my first 'Takao' in 2006 and planted it at the Michigan Preserve when I arrived there in 2009. It is an amazing cultivar noted for its Autumn color as pictured here. I now have one at the New York Preserve and I will add, finding these older cultivar are becoming more difficult to find as there are many "new" cultivars with all the "Bells and Whistles" to dazzle the eyes of many collectors. These traditional cultivars are as beautiful if not more so than the new trees on the block. I took this photograph at the Michigan Preserve in 2016.
Everything arrived in great condition, and it's such a great little tree! It's on my front porch, the first thing anyone sees should they step up to my door, which is pretty much just the Amazon and UPS driver, but still. Great service, great product.
I have had my 1 gal tree since mid summer. I originally had it planned for a small space in the back of my JM garden. When I got this tree there was no way it was going to be tucked away in the far corner of my yard. I decided to keep it in a pot on my deck just so I could see it every day. It is getting dappled sunlight most of the day and has been a gentle yellow with peach blush all summer. Now, in September, it is changing to a deeper blush of peach on the yellow leaves. It is definitely one of my favorite JM.
..in it's 1 gal pot. I've had the tree for a couple weeks and it looks better every day. I am always happy with the JM I receive from Maple Ridge.

The 'Chirimen' Hinoki Cypress was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. It's such a great and unusual looking conifer! I was so impressed with the quality and size and definitely plan more orders in the future.
This is a wonderful and relatively unknown cultivar. I had it planted at the Michigan Preserve and observed and photographed it for many years and now I have it at the NY Preserve. The colors are constantly changing throughout the growing seasons and it is hardy to zone 5a. Maple Ridge Nursery's trees are always healthy and with an estblished root system. I will continue purchasing JM's for many years to come. Posted are the Spring and Autumn colors.

Acer palmatum 'Ichigyoji' is not a common JM and is difficult to find. The little tree I got from Maple Ridge has a nice shape and is growing nicely.
Suffered a little probably because it was shipped during hot weather but seems to be getting over the shock. Very well packed for the trip.
