Came in great condition, one of the 2 Shidava Gold had a few broken stems at the top when arrived. I think could have been prevented if they shipped in a slightly bigger box. Other than that the plant came healthy. Would purchase again from Maple Ridge Nursery.

Acer palmatum 'Inaba shidare' Weeping Japanese Maple (Pre-Order)
I live in a difficult climate for evergreens so this tree is getting a lot of love. I’ve modified the soil and mulched the heck out of the area and so far so great. It actually looks great and no die off yet. We’ll see what it does in spring.

I have purchased "Yuri hime" from other nurseries, but Maple Ridge has a unique one. Unlike the Yuri hime sport that seems most common, this one has a very delicate leaf, small & full and almost "fluffy" in its density. It has a lovely canopy, dome-shaped. The sweet thing makes you want to pet it. It is quite vigorous, healthy, shade tolerant and so far, the insects have left it alone. It is pale green & upright. I am in love w/ this tree & will purchase another if it ever becomes available again. I check regularly to try to find it here. Fingers crossed. (see photo: it is the one in the low white pot in the front.)
