Pinus parviflora ‘Catherine Elizabeth’ is a dwarf selection of Japanese white pine introduced in the United Kingdom by John Proudfoot. ‘Catherine Elizabeth’ stays very small and only grows to about 1 to 2 feet tall at maturity. ‘Catherine Elizabeth’ is known for its small stature and short, blueish needles. ‘Catherine Elizabeth’ is the perfect Japanese White Pine cultivar for bonsai, rock gardens, or small landscapes.

As if the rich green foliage and the chocolate colored bark were not enough to make 'Kosteri' beautiful, add the fact that the leaves tend to curl downward on the ends and you get one of the most regal forms in the garden and one of my favorite conifers.
