Acer palmatum 'Ariadne' Reticulated Japanese Maple

Acer palmatum ‘Ariadne’ is a lovely reticulated Japanese maple. ‘Ariadne’ emerges in spring with light pink and peach colored leaves with dark green veins. This reticulated variegation begins to fade in the summer becoming a pale burgundy through the hotter months. The leaves of ‘Ariadne’ show out again in the fall with bright red foliage that really stands out. ‘Ariadne’ is another excellent example of a Japanese maple with reticulated variegation that will bring excellent color to any landscape.

Healthy, Neat grafts and well formed.

I enjoyed opening the package. The trees were healthy even if they just got out of leaf. They had grown into their pots and not just hastily upgraded liners. The grafts were neat. Will definitely buy from this store again.

The trees arrived very well packaged and moist when they arrived. They were smaller than I expected. I planted them within 48 hours. They seem to be establishing, it's a bit early to tell how it will go.

My little tree…

All is well and good. I put the tree in a two gallon air pruning pot. Tonight we are supposed to get some much needed rain. Perfect time for that. Next year I will set the tree into the wild. 😜
