Great service
After much online research for a reputable Japanese maple nursery, we ordered 3 varieties of Japanese maple trees from Maple Ridge Nursery. The Oshio Beni was the smallest one at 1 gallon, but that didn’t mean it isn’t as beautiful or as big as the other two 3 gallon maples we purchased. The Oshio Beni maple came sturdily strapped inside a tall cardboard box, and the planting bucket was wrapped & tapped to prevent soil loss during shipment. Upon arrival it was the smallest maple tree of the three with fuzzy leaf buds starting to form. I say “was” the smallest, because after a few days the fuzzy buds leafed out revealing beautiful broad light purple colored leaves. (We planted our maples within a few days of receipt). And, it definitely sprouted up some in a matter of weeks-we have had this tree for about 3 weeks now. While the tree trunk is slimmer than the 3 gallon varieties we also purchased (both are mounding dwarf varieties), the Oshio Beni has almost caught up in spread and height to one of the other red lace leaf Japanese maple purchased at the same time. We couldn’t be happier that we received such beautiful and healthy maples from Maple Ridge Nursery. Thank you so much for our lovely maples!

from 553 reviewsThe trees arrived in good condition and are now happily leafing out. I’m looking forward to watching them grow and mature.

The tree is top quality and arrived in excellent condition. Well-packed with no damage.

All maples I ordered arrived quickly.
All are budding with no broken branches!

Five quality trees as normal. Red bark, coral bark, green bark and yellow bark selections.

I saw a utube video that showcased this fir and wanted to get it. Maple ridge came through. It is small and beautiful.

The tree is young but tall. Many buds are starting to swell. I am looking forward to when the tree starts to leaf out. It came well packed and was delivered rather quickly.

Even though the soil had spilled a bit my new conifer looks to be in good condition. I’m just praying it will survive the hot summer here in Northern California. This was my first purchase from Maple Ridge and I’m very happy.

My trees arrived healthy and well packaged. They have been in the ground for a few weeks and still look good. I planted in mid February and it’s now March. I’m excited to see what they look like this summer. Will definitely order more from this nursery.

Too early to say.

Very nice little tree, Very nice shape.
Can't wait to see it leaf out.

I already have a coral bark maple, but this maple's bark is a brighter, stronger coral color. And the "free Friday shipping" was hard to pass up!!

I bought 2 Japanese Maples last year that arrived in beautiful shape due to great care in packing. I hope they survived our unusual extreme cold at times this winter. We were changed from Zone 4 to Zone 5a last year so I wanted to take a chance. I'm hopeful even though we haven't had any measurable insulating snow which is not the norm here. I also just received my Picea Abies Dandylion in great condition even though it was below zero here when it arrived. I felt more sorry for the delivery person who had to go out in the cold to get it to me! Maple Ridge Nursery is by far my fave because of the pricing, quality, shipping, and professionalism Thank you!

I have had the pleasure of purchasing beautiful and healthy trees from Maple Ridge for many years now and this is another excellent Acer Dissectum. I grew this variety at the Michigan Preserve and now I will have it at the New York Preserve to continue photographing and observing it for an upcoming Volume. Thank you everyone.

Order 7 gallon conifer. Was larger and arrived more quickly than expected. Good and prompt communication about the tree from vendor. Great service!

We are constantly putting trees in larger pots to allow them to grow and not become root bound. Therefore, many of our trees may have loose dirt in the pot until the roots fill out the container.
All of our Japanese Maples are grafted with a side veneer graft unless specifically stated as seedlings. This style of grafting is most commonly used in the nursery industry and allows these trees to still become excellent bonsai as the graft scar will be no longer visible when the trees age.
