Japanese Maples and Conifers

Acer palmatum 'Kasigiyama' is a Japanese maple with reticulated variegation. 'Kasigiyma' has dark red leaves in the spring with brighter red centers and contrasting veins. These leaves will fade to a duller burgundy or green in the summer and maintain the reticulated look with the contrasting veins. 'Kasigiyama' then turns a bright red in the fall.  10 Year Size: Height: 10-12 feet   Width: 4-6 feet

Acer palmatum ‘Mikawa Nishiki’ is variegated Japanese maple with pink, green, and white colors to the leaves. At peak variegation the leaves will be a light pink with green centers to the leaves. Most of the year 'Mikawa Nishiki' displays white variegation on top of a green leaf. These leaves will eventually will turn orange to red in the fall. ‘Mikawa Nishiki’ needs to be protected from the hot afternoon sun, but morning or dappled sun help to provide excellent color to the variegated leaves in the spring. Variegated leaves on ‘Mikawa Nishiki’ develop more as it matures, so be patient with this one and you will reap the beautiful benefits in the long run. 'Mikawa Nishiki’ will grow into a small to medium sized tree at maturity. 10 Year Size: Height: 10-12 feet Width: 4-6 feet

Cupressocyparis leylandii 'Gold Rider' is a golden Leyland cypress with outstanding golden yellow color. This color performs the best in the sun. 'Gold Rider' is a strong and fast growing tree that performs well in any climate. 'Gold Rider' makes an excellent and unique screening tree. 'Gold Rider' does not get nearly as big as traditional Leyland cypresses, so it won't outgrow its intended location. 10 Year Size: Height: 10-12 feet   Width: 4-6 feet

Picea abies 'Aurea Jakobsen' is an upright growing Norway spruce with excellent golden color. The main leader of the tree grows directly upright while the ends of the branches weep down. Pinus parviflora 'Shizukagoten' is a dwarf Japanese White Pine with an upright growth habit. The needles on 'Shizukagoten' are blue green and have a slight twist to them. 'Shizukagoten' is a slow growing pine that stays small even at maturity. 10 Year Size: Height: 2-3 feet   Width: 1-2 feet 

Pinus parviflora 'Nellie D' is a dwarf Japanese White Pine with a small stature and rounded shape. 'Nellie D' has short, blue green needles with a slight twist. This small little pine is perfect for rock gardens or other small locations in the garden. 10 Year Size: Height: 2-3 feet   Width: 2-3 feet 

Pinus kwangtungensis is commonly known as a Guangdong white pine. Pinus kwangtungensis is a species of white pine that grows tall with very attractive foliage. The needles are blue and grow upwards in clusters. The species is native to China and is quite heat tolerant. 10 Year Size: Height: 12-14 feet   Width: 4-6 feet 

Picea orientalis 'Reynolds' is a very rare dwarf oriental spruce. 'Reynolds' was originally found as a witches broom. 'Reynolds' is a very rare conifer and there isn't much known about this cultivar.    

Abies koreana 'Silberpearle' is a dwarf Korean Fir variety with very tiny, blue-green needles. 'Silberpearle' develops into a miniature shrub with a tight, compact shape. This small Korean fir is a fantastic option for container planting or rock gardens.  10 Year Size: Height: 1-2 feet   Width: 1-2 feet

Acer palmatum 'Sharon' is a rare Japanese maple with red spring color that fades to a bit of green and red in the summer. Fall color is an outstanding orange color that is quite unique for red Japanese maples. 'Sharon' will grow into a medium sized tree at maturity.  10 Year Size: Height: 10-12 feet   Width: 4-6 feet

Pinus thunbergii 'Whisky Hill' is a Japanese Black Pine that grows with a dense and compact habit. 'Whisky Hill' has an upright form that grows to be taller than wide. The needles on this Japanese Black Pine are a solid, emerald green. These needles are also medium in length and thickness. The foliage is reminiscent of most other Japanese Black Pines such as the popular 'Thunderhead' pine.  10 Year Size: Height: 6-8 feet   Width: 4-6 feet 

Picea abies 'Cupressina' is a dense growing Norway Spruce with a narrow upright habit. 'Cupressina' grows relatively quickly with dark, emerald green foliage. 'Cupressina' is an old cultivar of Norway Spruce originally found in Germany.  10 Year Size: Height: 6-8 feet   Width: 2-4 feet
