Upright green Japanese
Maple that is mostly known for it's bright red fall color. Red samaras
hang from this tree during the summer, which forms a nice contrast with the
green leaves. Fall color is a stunning bright red, Southern Living magazine
even went as far as publishing an article a few years back stating that
‘Osakazuki’ had the best fall color of any Japanese maple. I would never make a
statement that bold but it is wonderful. ‘Osakazuki also handles hot humid
weather very well and even tolerates full sun in Atlanta.
