Pinus Densiflora 'Oculus Draconis'
This Japanese Red Pine is also known as the Dragon's Eye pine. Each needle has 2 yellow bands and when viewed from above you see alternating bands of yellow and green 'just like a dragons eye'. 'Oculous Draconis' matures to become a very gracfull if irregular shaped small pine. We like to candle prune when young to keep the plant more dense.
