The
new leaves in spring are light green sometimes almost white with dark
veins. A great plant for many parts of the world. Although very
beautiful 'Filligree' is more of a
collector plant in the
Southeast as
summers heat will really do a number on it around August, causing
it to drop a large percentage of it's leaves. This is caused by
heat and not lack of water. If you must try your luck with this plant
in hotter climates please place in a cool shady spot. The growth habit
is very pendulous and fall color is usually yellow to
orange.
