Dissectum Group
The
name simply means green cascading which perfectly describes this great
little
tree. In spring the green color has a slightly blue tint that seperates
it from other green dissectums. At one time all green dissectums were
probably called 'Ao shidare' but
over time this cultivar became dominant and rightly so.
Growth is
very strong and pendulous. Ao shidare will tolerate full sun better
than most
green dissectum cultivars but could still benefit from some shade in
hotter
climates. Fall color is wonderful if not predictable, sometimes mostly
yellow,
other times mostly orange but usually a showy mix of both.
